Prizes Galore at the British Birdwatching Fair

We had a great time at the British Birdwatching Fair at Rutland Water last week and hope those who came along did as well. We saw hundreds of you over the weekend and came home hoarse from talking and laughing with you all!

Kevin Wilmott, the editor of Birdwatching Magazine, drew the winners for the magazine's competition at our stand on the Saturday afternoon. First prize, a Sepyside Autum Wildlife holiday for two, went to David Glover and he and his partner are coming to join us in the next couple of weeks for their holiday. The second prize winner was Michael Warren who received a £500 discount voucher off a Speyside Wildlife holiday. Last but by no means least was our third prize winner, Derek Rothery, who will be joining us for a Speyside Exclusive day out with one of our expert guides, targeting the Speyside species he most wants to see. Thank you to everyone who took part and to Kevin Wilmott and Birdwatching Magazine. We hope our winners thoroughly enjoy their experiences!

Speyside Wildlife again won a best stand award, which we were delighted with. Emma and Donna always work really hard to ensure our stand is eyecatching and welcoming. From the numbers of you that we saw, it must work! Our prize was presented to us on the stand … see below!
